Windows 7 – Wifi adapter not recognized

I read several instructions about installing different drivers etc. I recently upgraded to windows 7 professional, and now my network adapter does not work. Winsows help and support threads. Is there anyway I can force it to install or extract the driver somehow?

Click the down arrow and select the newest operating system that you know will run the Linksys software. By the way, when I try to plug it out, I hear a sound and when I plug it in again, I hear another one, but it does not seem to be the “hardware recognized” sound.
